Vanakkam! My name is Srinidhi Krishnan, and I am originally from Attur in Salem district, Tamil Nadu. I am a proud mother of two boys and truly enjoy being around children.
I have been volunteering as a teacher at Marietta Tamil School for more than six years. It has been a rewarding journey to help nurture a love for our *Semmozhiyaam Tamizh Mozhiyaam* and inspire the next generation to appreciate the richness of the Tamil language, culture, and heritage.
Tamil has always been a significant part of my life. During my school years, I was a passionate Tamil orator and was awarded **Third Place** in the State of Tamil Nadu Tamil Extempore Competition (High School Division). I have also participated in several well-known Tamil debate programs, including **Visu’s Arattai Arangam** and **Vishali Kannadasan’s Vaaname Illai**. In addition, I was the State Title Winner for **Bharathidasan Kavithaigal Recitation**, served as a College Pupil Leader, was the Student Editor of my college Tamil magazine, and volunteered to teach underprivileged children.
Beyond teaching, I am passionate about Bharatanatyam and Tamil folk dance, and I also enjoy singing. It is an honor to be part of the Marietta Tamil School family, and I look forward to continuing to share my love for the Tamil language with my students and the community.
