Marietta Tamil School is proud to be accredited by Georgia Accrediting Commission (GAC) for K – 12 programs. GAC, founded in 1904, is an independent, nonprofit educational accreditation body that has served Georgia’s schools for more than a century. Its core role is to set standards for quality instruction and evaluate schools against those standards to ensure strong educational programs across the state.
Our rigorous accreditation standards ensure that our Tamil Language Courses are recognized by Colleges and Universities, across the US. With this accreditation, we guarantee that our students will receive a high-quality, respected education and enable them to get High School Foreign/World Language Credits for Tamil.
Marietta Tamil School is one of the Affiliated schools of International Tamil Academy (ITA). ITA, founded in 1998, is one of the largest and most influential Tamil heritage language education systems in the world, serving diaspora communities through a structured, ACTFL aligned curriculum, digital innovation, and a strong volunteer driven model. As of 2026, ITA has a geographical presence in 6 countries, 22 states of US, 95 affiliated schools with 18000+ students enrolled.
