My name is Swathi Ramesh. For the past three years, I have had the privilege of volunteering with MTS, serving as a Preschool Tamil Teacher and as a part of Operations Team. In these roles, I have enjoyed nurturing our youngest learners, creating a warm, engaging, and vibrant classroom experience for our preschool families while supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of our school.

As a software professional, I value opportunities to give back to the community and grateful to be part of an organization that helps pass on Tamil language, culture, heritage, and values to the next generation.

On the personal front, we are a family of three- Me, my husband and my son. My husband, Shankara, is also a member of our school’s Operations Team, and together we enjoy being actively involved in serving our school community.

Community Involvement
Beyond my professional career, I am passionate about community service and education. I previously served as an English teacher at an NGO supporting students from government schools in India. Within our Tamil School community, I actively contribute to school events through planning, arrangements, and decorations and serve as a member of the Planning Committee. These experiences have allowed me to combine my passion for education and community service with my commitment to preserving and promoting Tamil language and culture.

I look forward to continuing my service to our school community and supporting initiatives that strengthen Tamil language, culture, and values among our younger generation. It is a privilege to contribute to a community that nurtures both learning and cultural heritage.
