Marietta Tamil School thrives entirely thanks to the incredible commitment of our volunteer teachers, parents, and administrative staff. We are a 100% volunteer-driven, non-profit community. By giving your time, you directly help pass our rich language and heritage down to the next generation.
Whether you speak fluent Tamil or want to help behind the scenes with logistics, we have a place for you. Our community works together to support weekend classes and plan vibrant cultural events and celebrations throughout the year.
Volunteer Roles & Opportunities
Teaching & Classroom Support: Step into the classroom as a teacher or teaching assistant. We utilize the structured International Tamil Academy (ITA) syllabus, providing you with the guidelines and lesson structures needed to succeed.
Event Coordination & Cultural Arts: Help us bring Tamil culture to life beyond the textbook. We need volunteers to help organize annual cultural celebrations, coordinate student stage performances, manage audio/visual needs, and design event spaces.
Administrative & Technical Operations: Help us keep the school running smoothly behind the scenes. Opportunities include managing student check-ins, coordinating communication, or assisting with campus logistics at Hightower Trail Middle School.
